Surround Yourself with Ambitious People
You likely have a family member or friend you admire for their ambition and drive in any situation. We recommend spending more time with people like this, whose ambition will rub off on you in any situation. If you don’t have anyone to turn to currently, seek a mentor or friend who will be there to support and challenge you in your work and personal life. Our personality is often dependent on those we spend our time with, so think very carefully about who you are surrounding yourself with if you are feeling sluggish and unmotivated at the moment.
Keep Setting New Goals
If you already have goals for your life in mind, you are already on the road to success. However, you need to keep challenging yourself and setting new goals to keep your mind and body stimulated. In any situation you find yourself in, think about the desired outcome of your work. Set a goal using the SMART goal setting principle, which encourages you to select specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-based goals.
